I am a great fan of Spider-man movies and I guess the previous two were really fantastic but this one is a complete disaster. To my mind the movie starts nicely and the cast is OK but it is simply disappointing and doesn’t provoke any feelings. However, the film has both weak and strong moments, so I would like to tell you more about them:

PROS:

• visual effects were top notch and really stunning. My beloved part is birth of Sandman. Frankly speaking, I can’t think of any other effect that can be that nice and entertaining. Also I liked the whole fight scenes, they were simply terrific;
• humour scenes were incredible and unexpectedly hilarious. I burst into laughter while enjoying Peter dancing;
• the first battle scene Sandman vs Spidey – nice and mind-blowing;
• acting was exemplary and very convincing – I really loved the whole scenes;

My CONS are much more impressive and the list is a big longer:

• the movie lacks its main characters’ development and most characters even lack depth;
• the costumes were really ridiculous. This time even Spidey wasn’t alive, I mean he looked like a doll and not like a living organism;
• some music parts were awful and this music even managed to kill the scene;
• the movie is full of details it just seemed to me that the authors tried their best to squeeze too much into one film – they simply failed to outline the main ideas.

To my mind the movie will suit only heavy fans who love any movie about Spidey as it is!
