First of all, I must confess my expectations for the third part were really low and I was about to miss the watching, but now I am ready to admit – it would have been a great mistake, because the movie turned to be really well-plotted, catching and interesting.

Butterfly Effect: Revelation is a surprisingly thrilling movie especially after the previous mediocre and shallow parts. Sam is in the center of the narration and like in the previous movies, he can travel back in time and sometimes even change the past.

However, he uses his abilities not only to find the clue to his own questions, he helps the FBI to catch killers. This time Sam is capable of travelling back to ANY moment in the past, without any special pictures or photos.

The movie is logical and coherent and it really lacks any plot holes, so it offers a catching story, well-written characters and amazing acting. The movie keeps you in suspense since it offers a lot of thrilling moments, especially in the last half hour.

Frankly speaking, I can’t but mention that the plot is somehow predictable if you are a rather attentive viewer. What is more, I love the dialogues in the movie – this time they were even smart and wit, the humour was present as well.

To put it short, I highly recommend you to enjoy the movie especially if you are a fan of the original. The movie is different and fresh and comes with a number of new and unexpected elements.

Sex And The City 2008 Movie Premier

Finally! Great! Wow! I mean, one of the highly-awaited movies is finally here! I am so glad! I can’t believe! I was waiting for Sex and the city movie 2008 premier for a long time! May be it will sound too trite but it belongs to one of my beloved series.

As to the movie itself. I won’t write pros and cons, ’cause there are a lot of cons and I simply don’t understand why. So, I will write a point and then explain it.

most people claim the movie is too commercial. To my mind, they are completely wrong. The movie starts just where the series stopped. It has a great ending and full of wise amazing moments. As to brands, actually, it was a bit surprisingly for me to hear, that somebody was going to watch SATC girls in simply and old-dated clothes. It’s really boring!!!

… boring, predictable … may be something is wrong with my ears? And what you were looking for: deaths and loneliness? Why? The movie lasts only 2 hrs and 15 minutes, what you were expecting to see? All seasons and one more new?

… full of silly moments… I think you got into the wrong cinema! Or you were going to enjoy something like The Matrix! No, the movie is witty and brilliant! Don’t forget about tissues, you’ll either cry from sadness or from laughter!

Conclusion: The movie is bright, entertaining and so touching! I liked it, it is full of laughs, tears,and great shoes/dresses. Girls look amazing! Go on, take your girlfriends and enjoy!!!

Rambo Returns 2008

Well, I think this year will definitely be a year of sequels. Rambo again. First of all, plot: John Rambo is a Vietnamese veteran who passed through the mill and for many years leads a simple existence in Bangkok, he simply salvages old boats and tanks for scrap metal. But, troubles always find him – a group of Christian human rights missionaries ask Rambo to rent his boat and to travel up the river to Burma. This region has been a something very close to a war zone for already 50 years. People there need badly medical assistance and support. So, Rambo agrees. After reaching the destination, the missionaries were met and treated awfully: some were murdered, some were got in captivity. Rambo starts a rescuing operation.

Impressions

I must confess, that my impressions are rather ambivalent, so PROS of this movie:

it was so nice to see Stallone once again and he didn’t disappoint my expectations. A true super star of action movies. I am impressed – he is 62 and his physical form is still so cool;
action scenes are unparalleled and very intensive;
the movie is dynamic;
much better than previous 2 movies and resembles the 1st one;
action scenes are unforgettable;
music and camera are brilliant;

CONS of Rambo:

the most bloody movie I have seen (at least, after watching it, namely this thought came to my mind);
the level of brutality, gore, violence and carnage can shock even rather bloodthirsty people;
don’t even expect any dramatic sense or deep meaning – it’s Rambo.

And the last point, nostalgia…
