PROS:

• visual effects were top notch and really stunning. My beloved part is birth of Sandman. Frankly speaking, I can’t think of any other effect that can be that nice and entertaining. Also I liked the whole fight scenes, they were simply terrific;
• humour scenes were incredible and unexpectedly hilarious. I burst into laughter while enjoying Peter dancing;
• the first battle scene Sandman vs Spidey – nice and mind-blowing;
• acting was exemplary and very convincing – I really loved the whole scenes;

My CONS are much more impressive and the list is a big longer:

• the movie lacks its main characters’ development and most characters even lack depth;
• the costumes were really ridiculous. This time even Spidey wasn’t alive, I mean he looked like a doll and not like a living organism;
• some music parts were awful and this music even managed to kill the scene;
• the movie is full of details it just seemed to me that the authors tried their best to squeeze too much into one film – they simply failed to outline the main ideas.

To my mind the movie will suit only heavy fans who love any movie about Spidey as it is!

I must put your special attention to the action scenes because they were staged perfectly and they were completely balanced. Alex Proyas directing can be named nice and brave to some extent – he made a catching and interesting movie that has no relation to a traditional Hollywood blueprint.

“Knowing” is like a breath of fresh air, I mean it, the movie is unique and completely different from these boring and never-ending popcorn flicks. To my mind, it is a thought-provoking one that keeps you in suspense and really thrills. The action scenes are amazing,  and I found myself shouting Wow for a couple of times while watching it. Visual effects were completely convincing and rather cool, however, not top notch ones.

To put it short the movie is close to an ideal one and there really isn’t much to complain about it. I definitely recommend to watch the film because it worth both your time and your money and it will provoke a myriad of emotions in you. Don’t miss )))

To my mind the movie is a controversial one and it includes some hidden hints, a lot of unspoken moments and a new interpretation of historical events, for example it was really interesting to discover some new facts about the Vietnam War and the Nixon Presidency.

The whole movie is centered around a murder and a mystery that surrounds it. The movie is a very intriguing one and it will keep you in suspense till the end.

Nevertheless, I still would like to name you 3 facts about this movie:

• amazing effects

The effects are really mind-blowing and a couple of times I found myself with my mouth slightly agape. I was impressed with some scenes. I like the way the effects were made, because they are extremely believable and convincing;

• violent and nude scenes

Well, I wasn’t expecting the movie to be THAT dark. I’ve found it even to be depressing to some extent. Scenes of violence are horrible and completely unnecessary. And the nude scene is the worst part of the movie.

• history

The movie is very valuable from the historic point of view.

Anyway, I highly recommend you to watch it!

I was dying to enjoy The Day the Earth Stood Still movie. I put all my deals aside and watched it and it was the biggest disappointment of this December. The movie is completely boring and some of its moments are really stupid. It has nothing that either thrills or catches, it is plain and leaves nothing but a sad feeling after watching.

It lasts almost 2 hours and literally nothing happens and nothing is left to imagination. There is nothing to enjoy in the film but for Keanu Reeves, he was brilliant as usual.

Frankly speaking I love Cloverfield movie much more since it has something to show and it draws you in and while watching it you seem to be a part of it. It is Cloverfield that brought back a sense of great sci-fi movies to me.

So instead of watching The Day you’d better enjoy Cloverfield!!!
