Well, this is my first post on moviescomments.com. Hope you guys like my style and choice. The Dark Crystal is an amazing piece of creation. This is an award winning movie.

The story takes us to another planet some thousand years ago. One of the Urskeks damages the Dark Crystal and an era of anarchy starts expanding its wings.

The evil monstrous appearing lizards bearing some traits of birds are seen ruling the planet with an iron claw. Meanwhile, the peace loving race of wizards known as Mystics gets worried as the time of the Great conjunction of the three suns is drawing closer. As per the prophecy the world must restore order and peace. The wisest man from the Mystics is on death bed.

The hero of the movie, Jen, an orphan, the last of the Gelflings, ventures on to find out the missing shard of the Dark Crystal.

I will maintain the suspense here. Watch out the movie to know what is the significance of the Dark Crystal and does Jen succeed in his adventure. If you love animation and adventure, you will like the movie for sure.
