Ratatouille

First of all, let’s consider the plot of this outstanding cartoon! The action goes on in Paris! As we all know, Paris is a Paradise for a gastronomist - the best food, the best restaurants and the best cooks in all over the world! Remy is mad about being an excellent cook, he dreams about it, he wants to find out more about cuisine secret! And he did it damn well! He has all the makings for this profession: he has ideal taste and smell, he knows the best recipes and possesses unbelievable abilities to improvisation while cooking. There is the only one problem. Remy is a rat! His relatives are fond of scrabbling in rubbish and finding the remnants of food! They are against his talents and the way he live - making friends with people and visiting their houses. It is so dangerous! His father is a leader of their family.

Remy got acquainted with am amateur cook – Linguini, they became friends. Linguini is a mediocre cook, but Remy is ready to help him and to realise his own dream with a help of Linguini’s hands. Here we can also meet some bad characters, who are trying to complicate life of main hero - Linguini and to get rid of the clever rat! Finally, we will see a happy end! Remy’s family will understand him, Linguini will find out his love and Remy will be the best cooker on the world! Oh, at least, in Paris! Their enemies will be punished! And our heroes will live a long and happy life! This movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen! It is touching, thought provoking, thrilling and absolutely suspenseful. To star with, it was produced by PIXAR animation studios (they also produces Cars, Monsters Inc.) and the graphics is of excellent, unsurpassed quality. The second one, this cartoon has a plot, an idea and an epilogue. Its characters are vivid, alive but they are intelligent, open, frank and kind.

As to me, in this movie, the authors wanted to show us (actually, it is a tendency in Pixar cartoons), that we are not the only one creatures in this Earth, which are worth noticing and telling about! Everybody, each creature has a right to self-expression and self-determination! Sometimes, it is difficult to comprehend, but, nevertheless, there are so many unworthy and uncleanly people, that even a tidy and neat rat has a right to cook and realise his dream! We are people and must be tolerant and social and not to reject something, that is challenging to comprehend! Why not?
