At 3:26pm EST on January 22nd, 2008, academy award nominee Heath Ledger was found naked and unconscious on his bed. His house keeper and masseuse tried to wake him for his massage appointment at his apartment on Broome Street, SoHo, in Manhatten. Ledger was pronounced dead at 3:45pm EST by emergency personal and was then removed from the apartment were a crowd and media representatives had arrived. Police spokesman Paul Browne that prescription sleeping “Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed,” and that “This is being looked at as a possible overdose, but that is not confirmed yet.”. While the final verdict will be determined Wednesday January 23rd at the autopsy, the police have found no note to solidify the possibility of suicide and have ruled out foul play as only the house keeper was there before hand. Initial reports had indicated that the apartment he was found at was actually owned by friend Mary-Kate Olsen, but this was quickly proven inaccurate by her publicist who verified that the actress has yet to own an apartment.
