Brilliantly executed by director Clark Gregg, Choke features its central character Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell), a sex-addict and a medical school drop-out con-man who works in a colonial theme park.

He devises a scam where he pretends to get choked on food pieces while dining in upscale restaurants and then allows himself to be rescued by sympathetic wealthy patrons.

While Victor makes those fellow patrons feel that his life is their responsibility, he uses the venture to pay for the hospital bills of his mother Ida (Anjelica Huston), who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.When he finds out that his mother has withheld the truth about the identity of his father, Victor teams up with his best friend Denny (Brad William Henke) and the beautiful physician Dr. Paige Marshall (Kelly Macdonald) to find out the mystery of his parentage before it is lost forever.

It features Donna (Meryl Streep) and her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) and also Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Christine Baranski, Stellan Skarsgård and Julie Walters. Donna, a single mother owns a small hotel in a Greek island and is eager to marry off Sophie to a suitable groom.

She invites two of her old girlfriends for Sophie’s wedding. But Sophie has a secret plan and invites three likely paternal candidates of her own. Here begins an ensuing conflict of performances from the all time ABBA hits, as the quest for the identity of her father begins, coupled with rekindling new romances and old love.

Set to be released on 27th June, this film is imaginative, futuristic and sci-fi coupled with adventure and comedy. The film begins with a not-so-real concept, when mankind had to leave its own homeland, the planet Earth and accidently left the last remaining robot turned on.

Wall-E or Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class, the central character carries on what he was destined to do for hundreds of years and then suddenly all sets to change when it comes across another robot, EVE. EVE is actually a search robot.

Finding out that Wall-E has stumbled upon the key to the future of the planet, EVE races away back to the humans in space, who are awaiting the time to be back into the planet safely. Teaming up with hilarious partners like a pet cockroach and a bunch of malfunctioning robots, Wall-E set on in his adventurous yet funniest journey, chasing EVE across the galaxies.

Predictably, a must see this season.
