While maximum directors are busy making original sidesplitting comedies in the
tinseltown, Matthew Vaughn has sent a comic book adaptation on the floors. Starring Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson and Lyndsy Fonseca, Kick Ass is going to hit the theaters in 2009.
The superhero tale is written by Mark Millar and drawn by John Romita Jr..Whether a-nerd-turning-into-a-real superhero formula will interest people or not, is definitely something we have to watch for. But, for now here is a quick recap of the comic fiction.
The story is all about how a high-school wimp, Dave Lizewski turns into a real superhero, called Kick-Ass without even possessing the inevitable athletic qualities and coordination. Lizewski finally discovers himself when he fights some actual bad guys with real weapons. Johnson is likely to essay the character of the dweeb, while Cage plays a cop in the movie, whose aim is to arrest a druglord.
Chloe Moretzp is believed to be playing the role of his daughter and Fonseca will act as the object of the teen’s desire. One might get to see breathtaking view of the exotic locales of London and Toronto.
