Introduced in 1984, the Transformers brand took the world by storm with its talkative history of the Autobots versus the Decepticons. The innovative about robots resulted in a tremendously successful toy line from Hasbro and Takara, comic book series, television program and an animated feature film. More than 20 years later, people has discovered the excitement of the Transformers brand and its legendary characters, including the two leaders of the opposing sides: Optimus Prime and Megatron. In 1986 the first Transformers movie about new generation of Transformers came out.

It is now 2007 thanks to Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg and ILM we have new occurrence. But they concocted a live-action version of Transformers. This movie has erased some of the bad taste left by the first animated film is quite an understatement. What we have in this live-action Transformers is nothing less than pure robot-versus-robot carnage and marked disadvantage for people. It more than makes up for the weak story and the uneven performances from the cast.
