There are so many movies, every day every hour we can watch something new, new and new. So, 3 movies of this week are to your attention.
In the name of the King: a dungeon siege tale (2008)
One farmer (Jason Statham) has the only one wish - to lead a peaceful life. But, it is very challenging to make this dream or wish come true. His wife (Claire Forlani) was kidnapped and the story begins…
It is a Sci-Fi movie and it is based on the popular videogame “Dunegon Siege”. The movie itself is not very dynamic, not very interesting, it is not touching and I think, overall, you will walk out with that “blah” feeling. After viewing a movie-trailer I expected it to be brilliant and dynamic, but.. it wasn’t. Dialogues are too primitive, scenes are plain and no suspension at all.
The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie
Three lazy and cute vegetables dream of being pirates. But, they work at a pirate-themed restaurant and one day an amazing adventure happens. Veggies transported back to the 17th century and tried their best to save a royal family from a tyrant.
So, this cartoon is not bad at all, even better than I expected! The animation is not brilliant, but it is rather decent, the plot is touching and thought-provoking (especially for young viewers) and it is easy to view and simply funny!
Dialogues are entertaining and sometimes even keep you in suspense. And the lesson that it gives us, a message is really useful and worth-mentioning.
Summer palace
It is a drama. One boy loves a girl. This girl moves to a big city and falls in love with another boy. They spend most time together while talking, studying, protesting the government… Then the boy was sent to a military camp, but he failed to forget his former lover, so he came back to China and …
Sorry, their names are so difficult to pronounce. The movie was banned in China. It provokes many feeling, a mixture of them. You definitely should watch it. There are many love scenes in this movie, many emotions and they are all naked, sincere, true.
