Sometimes, things are not what we think about them. They are much more difficult and even frightening. Diana (Uma Thurman) leads a happy family life, but in the course of time, bad memories started annoying her and new secrets about the old tragedy would be revealed…
Frankly speaking, I think I will be a bit subjective, ’cause I like Thurman. But, in general, the movie didn’t disappoint me much. Most people can call it a too-sweet-women movie, but I would like to argue!
It is simply catching… It keeps in suspense and… it is REAL, TRUE yeah I was looking namely for this word. It makes you burst into laughter and in a couple of minutes into tears, then it makes you feel happy and in the next minute - upset. The movie is about life, especially about its duality, it is about choices and friendship.
To my mind, it was worth every minute I spent watching it! \

The story is a very creative one, featuring flash-forwards meticulously and perfectly edited into the film. The subject matter also makes this film incredibly important and powerful, tugging on every emotion within the viewer. Uma Thurman plays her role well as an adult overcome with guilt as her life falls apart. However, the star of the film is indeed Evan Rachel Wood.
