Having been dying to finally see 3:10 To Yuma, I headed to my favorite movie download service, loaded it up on my iPhone, and enjoyed it on the long train ride down to see my relatives. Not only was the movie excellent, but it only cost me $1.99 to purchase 3:10 To Yuma.
The basic plot of the movie focuses around farmer Dan Evans (Christian Bale) escorting the famed robber Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to the 3:10 to Yuma train in the town of Contention. Evans is in this for the easy $200 reward to help his family, but Wade has plenty of resources and accomplices who are planning to make this trip a little more difficult then it originally seemed.
Having a chance to see Christian Bale in something between his Batman films reminded me how much I liked him as an actor and not just as Bruce Wayne. His interaction with Russell Crowe provide the quality drama I was looking for in this movie. If you’re looking for a good old-western action/drama, I would definitely recommend watching 3:10 To Yuma.

3:10 to yuma is the best western flick i can remember seeing in a long time, maybe forever… Bale delivered as usual and Crowe demonstrates yet again what a versatile actor he is.
