Max Payne Movie (2008)

My feelings have mixed up and now I really don’t know whether the one who was writing the script has ever played the game? My answer will be NO! Never! I am telling it to you because we all know that Mark Wahlberg refused to play the game but I am ready to bet that the rest of the people involved in the movie followed his example. Only some scenes from the movie – I mean decorations made me think that they had at least some vague idea about the plot.

It seems to me that they have simply read the synopsis on the game and found out the names of the main heroes. That’s all and afterwards they wrote their own version of the Movie. Frankly speaking, after viewing it I was very glad not being a fan of the game, because movie-makers didn’t meet my expectations. Even mine let alone the expectations of fans. What is more, if you were going to enjoy a perfect action flick, forget about it … This movie is very boring and even yawn-inducing.

I even can’t explain you what this movie consists of … Since it is lack of everything: narration throughout this film, actions, scenes, storyline … I adore Max monologues in the game, but here … nothing! He seemed to be a speechless and stupid person.

The movie is not something I would like to watch once again … The first time was more than enough!

For me its a nice movie, but as I watch it I’m still looking for something that you can’t see on the game.
