Any ‘Best Christmas Movie’ list that omits “A Christmas Story” can’t be taken seriously. I realize that most lists are bound to be subjective and everyone has their own opinions on something like this, but “A Christmas Story” is actually centered around ‘Christmas’ for pete’s sake !! “Home Alone” is less about Christmas and more about sadistic ‘slapstick’…..’Christmas’ isn’t even needed for the movie’s plot, ANY reason for the kid to be left alone would have worked……a very poor list (in my opinion of course) but still the one here isn’t very ‘Christmas-spirit’ inducing to me….

That’s great! Thank you so much. “While you Were Sleeping” is a personal favorite of mine. It tells a very heart-warming story and the characters are very endearing. I have to say the acting wasn’t too bad as well. Thank you for the great list Ms Movie Angel and Merry Christmas to everyone especially those who love a good movie.

I can’t let this list stand without adding that perennial classic, A Christmas Story. Good picks, though…but I like the new Miracle on 34th Street better.
