Hi, my post about best Christmas movies gained such a popularity. I’m so glad and happy and even decided to make a second part. So, top Christmas movies of All Time:
- It’s a Wonderful Life
This movie is a Christmas tradition in many families. There is no Christmas without it. People adore watching it and never tire of it. Every time I watch it I found something new in it, its story is brilliant, thought-provoking, generous. Play of actors is stunning. It took the 11th place on AFI’s list of best films of the century. Each year it becomes better.
The story is perfect, even superb, it brings us the true meaning of Christmas. One man lives in a wonderful little town of Bedford Falls and one day he looses $8,000, he starts wondering whether his life is worth living. But then comes one angel and shows him live without this himself. It’s really sad, his wife is alone and … George realizes that his life is not so bad. A major must-see movie.
- Surviving Christmas
A new kind of a holiday classic. Ben Affleck is charming there, the movie, in general, is touching and really cool. By the way, it’s a comedy, real comedy, sometimes even more than funny. James Gandofini is brilliant.
The movie perfectly conveys the spirit of Christmas. Ben Affleck plays a role of a young millionaire, who is destined to spend Christmas holidays alone, but he decided to return to his childhood house and pays to the family that lives there 200,000 dollars. And the story begins…
- Bad Santa
The movie is really funny, humorous and cool. The language is not that in classic books. But, thus, the movie is a very true-to-life one. Play of actors is really incredible, worth our attention. No doubts, it’s a dark comedy, with a lot of dramatics and suspenseful scenes.
Have you ever seen a Santa, that drinks, says naughty words, smokes and robs supermarkets? But, it’s Christmas time and everybody can become a nice, kind and great person.
- Jingle All the Way
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a star of this funny Christmas movie. Nice and touching movie and Arnold is great in it. It’s very easy-to-watch, just don’t take it too serious.
Arnold plays a role of a dad ready to do everything in order to get the newest toy to his beloved kid. Actually, it turns out, that the best gift is father’s love and care.
- Deck the Halls
Nice but too predictable. Cast is not bad at all, it features Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito. But, it’s great to watch it while the whole family is together.
Everything was perfect, until a very annoying and really funny neighbour decided to decorate his house in such a way Christmas lights could be seen from Space. Relax and enjoy!
P.S. A special place is given to While You Were Sleeping.

I heard some bad things about Surviving Christmas. Then again, some people don’t have any spirit.
Hi, Liz! Thanks for being my regular reader!!! Surviving Christmas is not my favorit, but Affleck is not bad there.
