First of all, quite good total budget of the film (50 000 000$) allowed to attract such a giant movie star as Russel Crow under Yuma’s umbrella. 
After the famous gangster Ban Wade (Russel Crow) had been putted under arrest, his band still threaten all locals.
A small rancher and veteran of Civil war Dan Evans (Christian Bale) decided to accept Wade at his ranch to give Wade an opportunity to be delivered to court Yuma. They didn’t expected that somemone has detected them, staying in a hotel…
The hunting started…  

Of course Crow adorns this film which suits his hollywood image as to nobody.
As as summary it could be said that such a serious film will not take away a working day stresses, so if you expect to have some fun better see something about “Superbad” )
