I haven’t seen such amazing movies with Tom Cruise for a long time. I used to think that most of his films are for money earning and self-promoting and nothing more. But this particular movie is a completely another one. Valkyrie is a great film to enjoy. I am sure it will provoke a lot of feelings in you, the same way it provoked them in me.

First of all, Tom Cruise was really amazing and completely natural. I don’t know whether he deserves Oscar for his performance or not but it was really astonishing. And not because I am a huge fan of Cruise, actually I am not his fan at all, but because his merits are evident. However, he should have learned German better, lol.

Let me remind you that “Valkyrie” is about an important event in the history of Nazi Germany and it describes one of the most controversial issues ever – and it was depicted brilliant. The story of “Stauffenberg-Attentat” is very interesting itself and while on screen it looks even better.

The “American” interpretation in Valkyrie really surprised me, because it was both fresh and nice. However, the movie is rather slow-paced in the beginning but in the end it turns to be a real highly suspenseful and catching thriller.

A lot of critics complain of the accents, and they were really evident, but it is really banal and sounds like a cavil. By the way, it was really nice to see Nina von Stauffenberg the way she was – knowing and smart wife.

Highly recommended because it is definitely a must see movie!
