This must be one of the truly laziest rehashes of a press release I’ve seen in many a long year, even though it’s seemingly been written in pidgin English. The “Leap Year” that everyone else is seeing is peddling tired old cliches about Ireland which would have been predictable 50 years ago, and border on offensive today – something which the vast ranks of negative and unamused reviews of, scattered around the internet, have already pointed out. Indeed, the most laughable thing about Leap Year is that someone green-lit the project in the first place! Still, it’s harder (if more honest) to sell That angle on a movie poster…
