Fred Claus (Vince Vaughn) is a real brother of the real Nicholas Claus (Paul Giamatti), better known to us as a Santa Claus. Just imagine, during all his life, there has been drawing a parallel between Fred and his successful, famous and beloved brother. He was always in the shadow of his all-mighty brother. Although, Fred possesses really awful character. He was even in a prison. His brother Santa Claus agreed to set him free, if he gives a promise to return home (to the North Pole) and get involved into the family business. But, to tell the truth, he is not capable of making toys and irradiating good mood, he can spoil any Christmas.
