The small town of Pacashau based in Georgia, depicted in the movie, “Joyful Noise”, has fallen in a hard situation and the only best rescue for them is now the Divinity Church Choir. They believes that the choir can only bring the lost spirit among the villagers for fighting with their bad times and for that the much needed action at the time is to win the National Joyful Noise Competition.

With a beautifully carried out story, Joyful Noise is well written and the theme and twist incorporated is the new essence to find in the film. although things were going good till the village folks are looking forward to see the choir win the competition but then the twist comes in abruptly when the two leading ladies, the new choir director Vi Rose Hill and the ex director Late a Bernie Sparrow’s widow, G.G. started having conflicting ideas. Latifah and Parton have been bestowed with the roles, respectively and their silly fights over the pattern of presentation of the choir looks interesting.

G.G.’s efforts in bringing pop song inclusion into the choirs and Vi’s oppose for the idea is worth a look and giggle with other interesting stories taking shape simultaneously where Vi’s young and beautiful daughter Olivia is seen having a growing spark with Sparrow’s naughty grandson Randy. This lends the two ladies with another reason to have cockfights.

The songs of the film are really joyful and are sweet to the ears and the movie can be rated as one of the worthies to watch in your weekend.

The Beauty and the Beast 3D 2012, the remake of the early version of Beauty and the Beast made by the Disney Studio in 1980/1990 is a perfect replacement in keeping with the new demands of the viewers but still keeping the content of the movie the very same- fresh, interesting and adorable. But the beast wants Belle to stay with him forever on which condition only he will release his father. Belle agrees to him and the story further proceeds with several interesting actions to witness.

The writer duo Roger Allers and Linda Woolverton has done a great work in adding twists and turns to the story and similar great job is done by the director duo Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise. Over all, a good movie to go for with your whole family and have great time spent together.
