Directed by Gary Winick, “Bride Wars” was recently released on January 9th, 2009 in USA. This romantic comedy Hollywood movie written by Greg DePaul and Casey Wilson is about two best friends who become rivals by scheduling their weddings on the same day.

Brilliantly executed by director Clark Gregg, Choke features its central character Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell), a sex-addict and a medical school drop-out con-man who works in a colonial theme park.

He devises a scam where he pretends to get choked on food pieces while dining in upscale restaurants and then allows himself to be rescued by sympathetic wealthy patrons.

While Victor makes those fellow patrons feel that his life is their responsibility, he uses the venture to pay for the hospital bills of his mother Ida (Anjelica Huston), who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.When he finds out that his mother has withheld the truth about the identity of his father, Victor teams up with his best friend Denny (Brad William Henke) and the beautiful physician Dr. Paige Marshall (Kelly Macdonald) to find out the mystery of his parentage before it is lost forever.

As to the movie itself. I won’t write pros and cons, ’cause there are a lot of cons and I simply don’t understand why. So, I will write a point and then explain it.

• most people claim the movie is too commercial. To my mind, they are completely wrong. The movie starts just where the series stopped. It has a great ending and full of wise amazing moments. As to brands, actually, it was a bit surprisingly for me to hear, that somebody was going to watch SATC girls in simply and old-dated clothes. It’s really boring!!!

• … boring, predictable … may be something is wrong with my ears? And what you were looking for: deaths and loneliness? Why? The movie lasts only 2 hrs and 15 minutes, what you were expecting to see? All seasons and one more new?

• … full of silly moments… I think you got into the wrong cinema! Or you were going to enjoy something like The Matrix! No, the movie is witty and brilliant! Don’t forget about tissues, you’ll either cry from sadness or from laughter!

Conclusion: The movie is bright, entertaining and so touching! I liked it, it is full of laughs, tears,and great shoes/dresses. Girls look amazing! Go on, take your girlfriends and enjoy!!!

• the plot is not bad and even really fresh and intriguing;
• our favourite stars are here again and I am so glad because of this.

Cons:

• first 25 minutes were a bit boring;
• the movie has a couple of really illogical moments (but I think, I was actually looking for them)

Frankly speaking, the movie is very easy, entertaining and full of funny moments. Indiana rocks!!!!

Why I called ‘Mother of Tears’ macabre is because of brutal violence. Moreover, there is Nudity, Lesbian sexuality predominant in the movie. What more can one expect from Argento? The Mother of Tears will reach theatres in June 6, 2008.

Written and directed by Frank Miller, renowned comic book writer, the movie is most awaited adaptation of the comic book. Frank Miller, as we know has already contributed Watchmen and Sin City. This movie of his, alike the other movies, seems to create sensation.

Now, lets us talk about story line straightaway. The Rookie cop named Denny Colt (played by Gabriel Macht), escapes death and returns as The Spirit. He becomes the Hero of the city. He has a mission to wage a war against the evil forces in the city. To find out who these villains are and what our hero does, we need to wait till 2009, when the movie will reach theatres.
