In Los-Angeles will be build the biggest in the world museum devoted to cinematograph, movie’s history and main cinematograph award Oscar.
According to the official data, the museum will be erected during the following period of time – 2008-2014 and the fundaments will be laid in the middle of Hollywood already in 2008.
A French architect Christian de Portzamparc is responsible fro the project. His place of birth is Marocco, but Christian studied architecture in Paris at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts. For some time he was a painter. In 1994 he got the Pritzker Prize. Portzamparc has already made some rather famous projects, one of them is a sky-scraper of the Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (LVMH) Holding in New-York.
The architect turned to be a devoted fan not only of architecture but of cinematograph as well. Both these spheres represent movement, the art of light, arrangement and composition. It is a feast of life or even life itself. Also, museums become an integral part of Los-Angeles and they draw attention of tourists.
But, life is not all honey, thus, the budget is not approved yet. What is more, there are no sponsors as well. And it is very important issues to view. The museum will be situated not far from the legendary inscription “Hollywood”.
