Although the following cartoon is as old the hills – I must admit that it is one of the best cartoons I have ever seen. Lady and the Tramp has everything a great movie should have: animation, colours, plot, feelings, amazing and touching songs. Some of its scenes became iconic: for example, the one with spaghetti eating, and some made me burst into tears. A hit!
Thanks to IMBD I managed to find out that it is from 1955! I always imagined it to be from the 70’s or ’80’s. Shame on me! The two dogs with completely different social background fall in love and amazing adventures began … The story is about Christmas and true emotions and love and understanding …
The movie is a brilliant one and I was a bit disappointed after watching a sequel. Frankly speaking, I don’t know why Disney always makes sequels to their animations and most of these sequels are … awful. The film is an absolute classic, an exemplary romantic movie.
The film was directed by Clyde Geronimi and Wilfred Jackson and it comes with the voices of Peggy Lee, Barbara Luddy and Larry Roberts. The movie is highly recommended to everybody who has feelings and compassion. Also, the movie tells us that it is something that inside only matters.
Don’t miss!
